Old Cars & Baseball

Caleb had his first tournament game of this week today and they won. YEAH!!! His coach has had them practicing every night this week and it payed off. We get to play again tomorrow. Caleb absolutely loves baseball he tapes ESPN with the baseball games, his favorite play station games are you guessed it baseball. He does a great job playing and we are proud of him. His Papa G. is a great help with playing pitch and catch with Wayne out of town all week.

My husband loves to tinker with things and the newest idea he and his best friend Joe have cooked up is entering a demolition car in the County Fair. They have started working on the car today and have had the greatest time tearing out the interior, taking out windows, using power tools to undo all sorts of things. My understanding is that this car is to be only a shell with a few parts on it. As they are taking this car apart there has been a few pennies, nickles and dimes found and of course I was all excited. You have to know that I'm the girl who gets excited when you are walking and you find loose change because in my eyes all that change adds up. The joke is that when Wayne and Joe are together they are always cooking up some new idea to either make money or spend money so when the money was found today, Joe's comment to me was see I told you we'd make money someday. Tracy (Joe's wife) and I are continously rolling our eyes at their schemes but it looks like this demolition car may make it to the County Fair.
